OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard on the EEEPC 1000HE
« Reply #100 on: May 25, 2010, 07:42:42 PM »
Ok, first of all, this forum is amazing.. because of you guys I'm typing this out on a 1000he 10.6 hackintosh.

I have an issue, I hate tap to click more than anything in life and I can't disable it for some reason.

When I installed OSX the only netbook installer was 8.4.something I think. All the posts on here are using older versions of the installer (as far as I've seen).

If anyone can help me out that would be great.. Thanks, Josiah

I admit I haven't looked in a while, but last I knew it wasn't possible to disable because the trackpad drivers are very basic and don't support disabling that feature.

I too have a question, is there a new fix for the mic? When I use the voodoo prefpane I receive a memory mismatch error.

I had this problem for a while too, I don't know if this is what you're wrong, but when I was copying the "extensions.mkpg" or whatever thats called.. I was copying it over the wrong file. Instead of replacing the one in the HIDDEN /Extras folder, I replaced the one in the system files.. If thats what you're doing then thats your problem.. otherwise, I have no idea.

hi together

i was wondering if i'm the only one with such big problems with the wifi?
in my 1000he the atheros wifi (AW-NE771) is installed, every third boot my wifi doesn't discover my home wifi. (encryption with wpa2)

while my iphone and my macbook pro finds the wifi everytime, my 1000he doesn't find it.
(i have to reboot with wifi deactivated in bios and reboot again with wifi activated to get it work again...)

with ubuntu i have similar problem, but the problem only happens every 10th boot.
i already swapped the atheros card against the Broadcom BCM94311, but the problem was still the same and the connection was very slow on the ubuntu...

could my problems be related to my installed bios? could some one with the AW-NE771 working with snow leopard give me his bios revision number?

thanks for any help
